Blown apex on new Atkins motor?

Here's a nice 10th anny for sale, but I don't get why the apex seal has blown on a new Atkins. I've heard of aftermarket apex seals breaking easily so I'm a little worried looking at this one.
At the same time, it could be poor tuning since he had a Haltech installed. Who knows.

Good question, 4000 miles on an Atkins engine. They have a 24 month warrantee if you follow their preparations and engine maintenance? I bought one a couple of years ago did everything they said and it runs fine. The only problem I ran into is the low compression on new apex seals giving me a heart attack until someone filled me in. Made it hard to resart until I put some miles on it to break it in. Wondering if the guy screwed up during the break in???

Yo,

Do a search under "Tboost", that is his forum name. I've seen his car, it's very clean!

I hope he gets lots of money! Go Tee!

Hm, and in two of the pics ot has pillar gauges, and in the interior shot, and the front end shot NOT next to the white van, it doesn't have them.
Probably older pics.
