Primer
Here is the engine bay after primer. I had again a lot more pics for you, the bondo and sealing process. Unfortunately someone that was using my comp got a few viruses and it infected every executable permissions file on the system and was unable to restore it without a format. I backed up all the files I could save after this happened unfortunately again the only items I lost were my folders from data corruption. That means all my photos documents database of this car and anything that was personalized to me is gone. Sorry for the inconvenience, I fixed the comp and starting over. So I will give you the photos after all this and try and explain it for you.
I want to point out the sealing work and imperfections that still exists. This was the first spray in primer; flaws are very hard to notice in the bare metal form. So we did the best we could with bondo and seam seal as we could see at the time. Now after the white base is applied the imperfections that need to be gone back over are much clearer and easy to mark now. Where imperfections exist I will just rub some seam sealer on it “icing” and where any larger imperfections exist I will sand it back down in that spot and bondo from there. Some items were missed, a hole and some old stud mounts. Trust me there was a lot of welds to fill hehe.
Imperfections will be outlined in blue and the seam seal work is outlined in pink.
The process of this work was to sand down to metal so that you can weld and clean everything nicely. Bondo the imperfections and then a etch primer is sprayed over the metal, followed by seam sealer and primer.
The engine bay will be done with another day or two of work. The paint might get done this weekend but may have to wait till next week.

Seal Inside Firewall
Allen got a little etch happy and went ahead and sprayed the inner firewall and seam sealed it without noticing I had not finished removing all the sound deadener from it. So I finished removing it and instead of re-spraying it I simply sprayed weld through primer on it. This will work just fine due to its location there is no real benefit to etching it. Anyways here is the pre primer of the inner firewall.

That was Allen. He just started riding. He is riding my old race bike from 02 a fully built procircuit Yz125.
I ride an yz125 and 450F A class for outdors. I ride a 250F for SX and AX and FX, A class as well. I am an Intermediate FX rider though.

ECU final brackets
Here is a shot with al the brackets welded in place. I had to reshape some of the brackets because the floor board was shaped a little different and I used the ECU bracket and cover from the LHD car. Not a big deal just had to beat the metal a little. I did have problems getting the welds to stick. I had to turn the heat up allot hotter then the metal grade. Oh well it works now.
The ECU placed on.
The cover over everything

CoaCoating the front core and clip, Rubberized Undercoat
Ok well I coated the under part of the core support in undercoating. I did this to be more rust prone give durability to it and you do not see it. There are a couple things you need to know about this stuff.
1. Cover everything up! This crap gets everywhere
2. 2. It is a PITA to get off!
This first 5 is prepping cleaning the items I am spraying. I used lacquer thinner on a rag and sand paper. First I sanded everything to ruff it up, helps the paint stick. Then I blew it off with the air compressor and whipped it down with a rag dipped in lacquer thinner.
