Blocking off coolant

I am in the process of doing the TB mod. I need to know if its ok to block off the coolant nipple coming off the back of the of the block? I used a rubber vaccum block-off thing and it fits pretty damn snug. Is the pressure in the coolant system going to force this plug off? Its under the VDI manifold so I'd like to know before I put everything back together. I also used a rubber vaccum blockoff on the nipple going into the back of the waterpump. But that nipple is a return nipple correct? Meaning coolant won't try to force that blockoff off.

Put a hose clamp around it and it should be ok. I just cut one of the factory hoses and looped it together. I'm going to drill and tap them for a plug later.

Just a hose clamp on the one coming from the rear of the block right? I was thinking about cutting it off altogether and tapping it as well. Thanks for the quick reply.

Actually, the coolant hose that comes off the back of the engine, under the intake manifold can just be stretched a little, and it will go right to the BAC valve where it needs to go.

Do you still have your BAC valve? If not, either run a hose between those 2 coolant nipples, or leave them capped off like you have now. I am not sure those caps can withstand 15-17 PSI and stay where they are supposed to for any long amount of time.

Yeah, I removed my BAC. I think I will just get some hose with a 90degree bend, and run it from the back of the engine block to the nipple on the back of the waterpump housing, just to be safe.

Just run the original hose that went from the water pump to the BAC. Run that from the waterpump to the engine. Ofcourse i had room since i removed the solenoids and the metal rack underneath the manifold.
