what is the purpose of block off plates y do people do that. just curious

When you remove emissions components it leaves big holes in your intake. You have to cover those up or they're gigumbus vacuum leaks.

I got 30hp from my last block off plate. thinking about installing 5 or 6 more.

have to pick up a couple more NOS floor mats too.

I installed a Vtec decal on my rear gate, and it put down another 17 hp to the wheels.

A negative disadvantage to the point that if the BAC was gone and your using a stock ecu it will affect your idle.
