Block-off plates question

Since my turbo's at Majestic and the airpump is removed, I ordered the ACV blockoff plate and also the plate for the spot where the air feed line that goes to cat would connect.

In ditching the airpump and ACV is there anything else I need to know? The reason I ask is I was wondering, for example, how I would adjust my idle since the ACV will be removed and it has an idle adjustment screw.

Thanks.

Yep, for the pressure sensor. I think you can tee it off another line though

By the time I would have picked up some scrap metal, borrowed a drill I would have burned the 10 bucks in gas. not exactly breaking the bank.

I know where the BAC is - the horizontal cylinder on the pass. side of intake manifold.

So where does the ACV blockoff plate go then???

RotorTuner,

I just noticed you're in Poulsbo. I used to work on an 80' tender in Sitka, AK and the boat was registered in Poulsbo. Skipper was Dennis Higgins. Just sorta caught my eye..

The ACV plate will go in place of the ACV housing just below the BAC. There is three bolts that hold it on. THere is a vacuum line from this to the pressure sensor, but if you are buying an aftermarket block off plate it should have a provision for this, i beleive it does.

Must be comforting to know that you sleep near some Trident D-5 ICBM's. I saw a "Boomer" once up in Sitka. Sucker is MASSIVE!

The boat I worked on out of Poulsbo was the "Sea Rider". (original, I know) That was a lot of fun working on that thing for the summer...

About air pump??

I removed my air pump, but didn't remove anything else, on that hose where the air pump was connection i have put in small filter. My car runs fine without air pump. Is it necessary to remove that ACV or can i drive it like this just without air pump?
