Block Off Plates and Boost Nipples

Has anyone used their block off plates as a place to add boost nipples for, say, a boost controller, BOV, etc?

Here's the way blockoff plates SHOULD be made but are not:

The three nipples need to be opposite the holes in the manifold as shown in the second jpg. And a gasket should be used. Home made gasket.
