Block off plate question (need asap)!!!

My car is in pieces right now!!! My question is, that I have blots sticking out from the removal of the ACV (meaning there was a nut attaching them instead of a bolt). How do I remove these extruding bolts from the block, so I can use the screws they gave me with the kit??? I noticed on some of information of the removal of the ACV nobody else had this type of problem??? ANy answers please!!!! Thanks

Simple....with pliers, counter turn the threaded rod at the center of the rod. This area Is free of threads.

Prior to block off plate Installation, be sure to use a sealant. I use RTV Clear Silicone Sealant.

Thanks! It took some time, but I finally got them to go!!! I used a mallet on the ends of the bolts to shake them up a bit, that seemed to do the trick! Everything is done and running great! Thanks, again!

I used the factory studs when I put mine on. Threw some RTV sealant on each side of my gasket, put on the block off plate, stacked a few washers on each bolt and then put the nuts on. Whenever I try to remove studs on this car they always snap in half, so I try to avoid it

or you can take two same sized nuts, thread them both on the stud pretty far down.. then take the bottom nut and tighten it up to the top nut, and then just turn. The stud should start coming loose and start turning. It's always worked for me when it comes to taking the studs off of cars.

Tried that before quite a few times. Snapped a 14mm stud straight in half. That was AFTER drowning the stud in penetrating oil for 48 hrs.

No offence but those must look damn ugly sticking out that far. Try tapping the ends of the studs with the mallet, that's what eneded up doin the trick for me!

That's how I got mine off. I just used two of the ACV nuts. I had all three studs out in under 10 minutes; no penetrating oil required.
