Blinker/headlight lenses always missing???

Just curious... why is it like every so often an FC is missing one or both of the lenses directly underneath the flip up headlights (not the orange blinker lights, the clear/white ones)??? Are they just prone to breaking or just a coincidence that I always see some of them missing

the tabs break easily when people take them out to paint the car. when you reinstall them they arent secured in properly and fall out driving down the road,,,

You have to fill the blinker fluid.

I still have mine, but i thought the reason people took them out was for cooling- the same reason why they get the vented headlight cover.

They are there so you can flash your lights when they are off/down. Im pretty sure in some places in the world they are needed to be legal, but not everywhere

"Flash to pass" lens. Big thing in Europe on the autobahn and since Mazda developed the FC to compete with the Porsche 944 the engineers thought this little treat would make it seem more "German influenced".

I have mine in too. They look good when you polish them up with some 3M Hand Glaze.

Never seen race car drivers do it? They Flash the car in front with their headlights to let them pass if they are going slow. Or do it to tell them to get the hell out of the way (usually what it's used for).

Yeah, 20 year old plastic kind of disintegrates when you touch it. Found that out with my passenger side FTP lens :'(
