worth it for what? there are two valves in a shock, there is a low piston speed valve and a high piston speed valve. the low speed valve is for handling, the high speed valve is for bumps. the bilstein is valved well for both, the AGX is not quite as good, although its ok. the difference between the two matters more as you run stiffer springs, and or go racing.

the bilstein is an insert, and installing it requires you to remove the guts from a stock shock, and then you bolt the bilstein in on the bottom, its weird, but not hard

Would you say it’s worth the extra price and trouble of cutting my struts for the added quality and longevity vs the agx’s? The RsR race springs are stiff 345lb rate in front and 230lb in rear.

edit: it’s gonna be a street car

if you wanted to run stiffer springs you should do the bilsteins.

at 350/230 the AGX's are fine, the bilsteins will ride better, and handle better, but its not a huge difference. on the street basically you'd notice the ride

for longevity the AGX's are really good, equal or better than the Bilsteins.

AGX's are easier to install, but the Bilstien isn't hard, its just unusual.

i'd look at prices, if you find a great deal on either one, grab it

Ok perfect that’s answers everything I appreciate it man. I can get agxs for 360 shipped from rockauto and I’m not planning on going any stiffer so I think I’ll get the agxs . Thank you

I ran agx with racing beat springs before moving to coilovers. I think they were fantastic for street and mountain carving.

If you haven't ordered them yet, Tire Rack has the fronts for $121 and rears for $92 each.
