Angry Big problem need a little help!!!!

I was messing with the bac valve again I should have just left it alone. Anyway when I was putting it back on the damn bolt broke off in there. I tryed that extracting drill bit and the f@%#ing thing dident work it pissed me off. So its not coming out so here is my question. Can I just stick a rubber stoper in the hole or does it need a block off plate. Also about how hot does that area get. this really suck thanks

I would think that a block off plate would work better, It gets pretty hot in there and Im not sure how long a rubber stopper would last. So my suggestion would be a block off plate. Good luck with it tho..Later

there is a weld that you can get that you would put down the hole and it would actually fill to the top of the hole forming to all threads and then you weld a top to a bolt onto that and then just unscrew it however that is expensive

#40 drill bit and a #8 easy-out- if the easy out isn't grabbing for you, the hole is not deep enough, or you used too large of a drill bit (in that case you need a #10 easy-out bit). Can't get vise-grips on it?

I'm of the camp to remove it, and put a block off plate there, but only if you're going to do a full emmissions removal.. I'm honestly not sure of how it will affect the system if the BAC is not there, but the rest of the emmissions system is...

its flush with the hole so vice grips are out. I got no money so the weld thing is out. Someone told me just to put rtv on a block off plate with gasket and tighten the bolt I had left and let it sit for 2 hours. I hope that works and I have the air pump,acv,a/c, and I had no power steering to begin with so I can ditch it. The bolt was so old the extracting bit just cut insted of grabing it. Now the hole is way to big for another try because I can already start to see some thread. So Im stuck now trying to figure out a way to block it off with one or no bolts that cost very little money. If it comes down to it I will go to a junkyard pull the part I need hop the fence and run like hell. yea I need this car running that bad and I know its sad.

I have no idea how to do that or what you need. Does that make new thread or something I have never heard of a tap.

Cool Im back

I F***ing fixed it and now I have a steady Idle at 800 rpm. Also my car dosent have that pulsing idle I had every now and then at cold start. Here is a pic of how I fixed it. I will now and try to make a cleaner looking version of what I have created. Also I need some feedback on how well you all think this will hold up. This cost me zero dollars and zero cents which is good. I used a peice of heater hose bigger than the bac hole to take the heat and a metal stud to hold it air tight in place. First I put the heater hose in the hole of the bac valve the I forced the metal stud into the peice of hose to force it in the hole to a air tight fit. Here is a pic of the set up. sorry for the 3rd grade picture.
