Question which is the better deal?

87 MAZDA RX7 turbo, 5 spd, sunrf, pw, blk, frnt mount intercooler, new tires, too much to list $6500 obo

or

87 MAZDA RX7, 130,000 kms, exc cond, new brks, new calipers, reg serv, new tires, no rust, must sell $3475 obo

Which is the better deal? This would be my first fc and i was thinking even before i saw this on buying something like a 89 and getting a engine swap done + turbo...would it better to just go with teh 87 turbo? It is a little higher than my price range...mine is more around 5grand but maybe it could happen...

Both sound kind of expensive but if you want to do a turboo swap on the N/a then just go to the turbo. I think it will cost the difference if not more than that to do the swap. I love my N/a so I am bias but turbo will be fastest any way you put it.

If you go for an N/a don't get anything with power windows and all that stuff look for an se or sport like mine they are the lightest so generaly they will be quicker because they weigh less. But if that was canadian I guess it is a good deal for either one but for speed I would go for the turbo. Some turbos are known to be problematic but also some are great daily drivers.

Those are good deals. It now depends on what you want out of the car.
