Hi I am looking for some springs for my rx7 and I'm wondering what brand to get. Right now I'm leading towards Tanabe's Agility springs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xq-D2...eature=related). My goal is to lower the car more than handling but I would like to improve handling as well and it looks like the Tanabe springs will do both. I can't afford coilovers so they're out of the window and I'm just wondering what you guys like such as brands or types or whatever.

If you go used you can get KYB agx and Tanabe springs for about 5-600 bucks.

myself,I would be doing both,not just the springs.It may lower the car but the shocks will still be 20 years old!

 

You can get a full set of KYB AGX for less than $500 NEW, screw buying used struts... coilovers maybe.

I bought mine on ebay a few years back and I think I paid around $450.

And yes, springs will be nice. If you want to improve handling though you'll really want better tires, too, and wider if possible.
