Best Shop/Repair Manual

Looking for input on the BEST repair manual you can find for my 89 Rx7 vert.

I hate to buy those manuals that cover 20 years, and 50 models that describe removal of something as "remove 4 support bolts and remove... installation is reverse of removal"

I want pics, notes, details, warnings, and hints.... is there such a thing?

Thanks !

As stated, you can download the FSM. I would also suggest getting the Haynes manual. The Chilton is as useless as **** on a boar hog (and thats pretty useless).

agreed. use the haynes as your guideline, and the fsm as the mainline.

stay away from chiltons, worse than a priest at a prostitute convention

Same here.
Use the factory manual as your prime reference.
Then before starting a project check the Haynes manual for any tips.

You may download from my copy of the FSM at the link in my sig.

Thanks guys... didnt know if there was anything better than Haynes or Chilton out there.

I have the FSM, but didnt think it had enough info in it for like removing the MOP. Testing yes, R&R no. I'll go pick up a Haynes.

Yeah, I have found that they complement each other. I primarily use the FSM, but reference the Haynes periodically since it has better info on some stuff.

FSM or Haynes are the way to go. I own those and the Mitchell's and Chilton's, both of which are useless. I hardly open them.

+ 1 . . . I always use a combination of the FSM and the Haynes manual. FSM is the greatest by far, but you cant always take your computer out there and printing that whole thing just seems stupid.
