Carbon seals made by racing beat are made for N/A only applications, They specialize in high reving engines. Your statement is wrong for HIS APPLICATION. For any turbo appliction you would be correct.

Hey Khan was the mpg on the street port?
Well my engine is a 6 port turbo running low boost on the TII EMS so its impossible to compare before and after. I never ran it N/A after the rebuild. The car probably gets 10-12mpg. I'm sure I could get it up to 15+ if I drove it easy, but thats no fun Needs a standalone asap.

Thanx guys you have been really helpful...i have been looking at the links to the rebuilds and i just might be brave enough to at least take the engine out of the car and take it apart, with the help of my brother -in-law who has done rebuilds for his own rx7...not sure yet, i miss driving the car and want to put it back on the road asap and not in 6 months lol....plus have to convince the wife to hand over the cash lol...she calls the car a money pit lol..
