^that's assuming you've still got your cat and air pump on there of course

is it possible to pass emissions w/o the precats? I've never actually passed emissions before so my knowledge is a bit limited

You can pass with a single cat and an airpump blowing in to it constantly. Been covered many times.

Well, many things are easily found in the FAQs and can be found in under 5 minutes.
The best exhaust is dependant on what you want. Do you want it loud, low and smooth, need to pass emissions, etc.
For his purposes, I would say the best is prob. the bonez high flow cat and RB catback.

Stock manifold, nice main cat with Air constantly being injected into it VIA the air pump, and an RB catback.

RB is good ****...I LOVE my exhaust... for some reason some people don't though, but that's their opinion. It's pricey as **** though...

hi-flo cat and so-on..

yes ..you don't need the pre-cats ..use a high flo cat..(like Bonez hi-flo) ....and your stock air pump(hook it directly to the cat via the split air tube) ..make sure that you are tuned..(plugs,wires,filters)..lean it out ..as much as you can..and I hate sayin this but ..SEARCH!..there's lots of info on this under emissions, failed emissions,hi-flo cat..stuff titled like that..the reason every one gets cranky about postings like this is that the subject is like a BABY SEAL...it's been Beaten to Death...(it's right up there with,,My Car Won't Start!!!).. that is for the Catalytic....And the Exhaust..best exhaust for the money...Racing Beat...(you can always customize/build your own..after all it's your car and you have to listen to it...) good luck

for someone who is telling someone to look up something, you think you would obey the Forum Rules. It says if you tell someone to search, do it politely. It even gives examples and an all caps "search" with an exlimation is against therules. Let's all be friendly.

Why should they? Exhaust bible thread was 95% bias without proof of anything.

For the poster: IM Kahren and have him make you a complete exhaust with a cat.

It's only biased if you think it is, I thought that it was what people felt like their exhaust did for them, I personally love the sound of my TII Cat back...that's unbiased I don't see how you can say that's biased? Performance sure...

And the reason I say is search, is it has been covered 9 million times, in the past week alone.

But people posted "performance" gains and had misinformation about the use of certain exhausts (like using a True Duals on a bridgeport).

It gets old.

But who's to say what they are feeling isn't true? That's like people trying to tell me my supercharger is stupid when they've never owned one and driven a car like mine...

This subject is more than old.

Tech had it right that the thread starter should search, but it was beaten to death LONG before the exhaust "bible" thread was even created.
