Best place to get a good price on Koni shocks?

I've decided to go with some Koni yellow sport shocks for my FC. Because of the higher price I'll buy one pair this week; the other in 2 weeks.

The rears will be replaced first since they seem to be the worst on my car. I've been able to find them for 235.94 shipped. Does anyone know of a better price from somewhere I may have over looked?

If not, I'll just wait a couple more days to see if some show up on ebay or here on the club before buying.

I always try ajusa.com first when looking for general parts like that. It looks like you've found them too, since the price you quote is their exact price (with free shipping...gotta love that).

Umm, you do know that Koni never made "full" front shocks for the FC, and that you have to re-use the shock body of the stock one and rebild it with koni parts, right?

Get some KYB's Tokicos, or Racing Beat($$$) shocks instead.

Just reuse the shock body. Don't use inferior parts just because it's easier.

I agree completely. The labor to convert the fronts with the Koni inserts isn't very intense (quite simple actually), and well worth it to get the better quality units.

One thing to be wary of is if the strut housing to be re-used has the typical 'rust bulges' around the mounting flanges. The stock struts I had were severely rusted around the flanges. I ended up buying a used set of blown factory front struts that were in nearly perfect external shape to put my Koni inserts into - I paid $10 for the pair. Money and time well spent IMHO.

Free Shipping on orders over $200 pretty good people, I ordered from their sister site www.Egauges.com.

I have Konis on my car, and they are awesome.

Damn, I'm glad I'm not the only one with that problem. They are starting to crack in the center too. 1 more thing to fix this winter
