it might just be another TII swap
it might just be another TII swap
hi, my name is andru and i am new to the board. in the next few months i am going to be looking for a s5 gtu. I will eventually be getting into a swap. i no you might say just get a turboII, but i want to do a swap. I no you have to change drive train. but can i use the same wiring harness? is the TurboII the same wiring as the GTU? i am a good welder and cutter so i am up for that and i am capable of doing this, and if i am not my best friend graduated from wyotech.is there anything else i need to get other than drive train, an engine, and exhaust.
thank you for your response

seach and you will find...this topic is covered like 30 million times a day if you search you will find more knowledge then you are looking for. As to help get you started the you want to use the NA harness but it needs some modifications. the wiring is different but if you use the same harnesses from the na and modify them they will work.
It seems like you dont have a rx7 yet let me save you lots of pain, trouble, and money by saying buy a turbo 2 then you dont have to swap anything.... huh sounds like a good idea
