Best deals on performance TII caliper Brake Pads?
This is a drag car, street noise is not a concern. Looking for HP + pad or better… Best prices I’ve seen are right around $100 shipped on Ebay. Any cheaper Rx7 Pad suppliers out there?

I have since went to the larger calipers and rotors so the HP+ may get me by ok. Street pads won't work on my setup.

If the HP+ is the most economical choice, I'm willing to give them a try again this year. If there is a cheaper more aggressive pad I'd like to see how it acted.
Where is everyone buying pads? Is Ebay the best place?
No offense, but your incorrect. Stomp on your brakes at 160 and see how quickly they get hot. The HPS pads I used faded to nothing very quickly. The HP + were much better but would still fade enough to make me nervous.

Looking for Rx-7 enthusiasts with similar personal experience with performance brake pads.
Asking what vendor/dealer has the best price on pads is no reason to break out the "cheapskate" card.
I appreciate any and all input. Judging by your replies, I don't think either of you have direct experience with a performance pad in a drag racing application.
Hawk HPS pad is ceramic, they faded... bad. I need to stop very quickly as the shutdown lane is not very long. A street pad isn't going to work well here.
Heard that one before. Totally bogus statement IMO... as the two aren't necessarily related.

what about using metallic pads. if it's purely a drag car then i doubt you'd mind the extreme rotor wear but gaining better brake bite.

The Hawk Plus pads are semi metallic... I go through a set of rotors a year.. if I'm lucky.

No I don't drag race my car, I road race it.
You might try Hawk DTC 60 pads. That is what I run on the front of my car. They work very well and actually work on the street to drive the car around. I have not got them to fade on the track yet. Hawk Blues and Blacks need some heat in them to work, I don't think they would be your best choice. They really wear the rotors when cold too.
