there are a lot of fans and shrouds people have used and write ups for them. As for how to switch it I use a standalone but im sure there are a bunch of good products out there that can control them. You can also find heavy duty relay kits cheap as well. I have mine wired on a single speed and its an SHO fan.

I have a villager/quest fan, fitted nicely to stock rad but i cut the shroud because i bought a griffin radiator
