Belt slippage? //Dual alt pully?

IM currently running only the fan/alt/water pump.. And sometimes theres a little squeeky sound, or whistling sound. Sounds like its coming form the alternator...but im not sure. Ive heard fan belts slip before and it sounds pretty bad, its much more mild than that, but could it be minor belt slippage?
AND, if I go duel alt pully, do i need to have a pully machined? cuz that would be annoying

ive been driving with just a single belt on forever.. its still squeeling.. broke them a few times too

or you could buy a dual alt. pulley and buy another alt belt.. idk why you are confused about that

I'm running the yoohoo belt with no prob, have been ever since I removed my air pump.

You can buy a dual alt pulley that will go right into your stock alternator provided that pulley is meant for your car. Then all you need to do is run 2 NEW (yes new, since belts wear easily you should start with 2 new ones so they are the same tension) alternator belts.

Do it properly. Buy a dual-belt alternator pulley from one of the many vendors who sell them (search), get two new belts, and you're set. I haven't had belt slippage under any circumstances since I did this.

Actaully you need to buy two new belts, or the one used belt will already have play in it from being used. Trust me, MUCH easier to buy two at once and be absolutely sure they are the same length, than trying to have a shop match/cross reference belt models.
