Beeping after start up?

Hey guys, the dude i sold the car to is experiencing some beeping noises. About 5 mins after he starts the car, there are pulses of 5 beeps that continue as the car is still running. Any ideas?

my '87 gxl does that....only if I have had it in neutral and idling for 10 minutes or so. I don't know what the cause is but I just don't let it idle for more than 10 minutes or so.

Weird, but there has to be a reason. Resetting the battery will fix this up, correct?

You may also want to consider the steering wheel sensor located at the back of the steering wheel. Mine would let off a couple of beats for awhile until I took the wheel off and cleaned the back of It. Since then, no beeps.
