The turn signal cancel switch, is a large round thing that sorta looks like a round tape messure. It needs to be set by turning all the way clockwise to lock then turn back 2 3/4 turns until the lil marks line up. It is directly behind your steering wheel, and you need to remove the wheel to get at it. There are two lil plastic arms that stick out of the turn signal cancel switch that need to go into the lil holes on the steering wheel hub. These lil arms are what turn the cancel switch and let you car know when to turn off you turn signal after you complete your turn. If you have a broken switch you could just get one from the junk yard. This is not a part that usualy goes bad.
Although! I completely disconnected my turn signal cancel switch and I did not get any beeping or codes. I have since hooked it back up. So the problem may not be that switch, but it is worth checking anyways.
The first thing I would do, if I were you, is to check the fluid level in the power steering.

I think Icemark was thinking of me with his comment. I have the beeps going on too, with no trouble from the Power Steering. I had noticed that the turn signal switch wasn't working, too. He says this can cause the beep beeps. I have since determined that the turn signals work correctly until the beeping starts. Then they go kaput.
Who knows. I haven't had time to fool with it. I just drive the 80. I don't have to resolder every darn connection in it to make it work correctly.
