been searching for the thread if any

i was wondering if the 13b-re cosmo engine can be placed into the s4 versions of the car, im confused on this subject because the engine was made for the 90-95 versions if i remember correctly

im getting my rx7 soon and have very big plans for it

The 13bRE will go into an S4 or S5 w/ more or less the same amount of work. But it's definitely not a 'drop-in'.

You'll need different motor mounts for sure. It WILL bolt up to a stock drivetrain. You'll have to figure out something for your ECU though. A lot of guys go standalone, but I've heard of others using TII ecu's also. Not sure what's entailed in that as I'm doing full standalone (Microtech).
