Call them and tell them they are DUMBFUCKS!

BTW, who is this shop so we can all avoid them!

The bearings (rotors at least) have a bendable tab that locks them in place.
It's just a matter of bending the tab back or pounding them out from the opposite end - no biggie.

You talking wheel bearings? If so, see the Mazdatrix website and their FAQ.

Or are you talking about the ujoints on the driveshaft?

Even wheel bearings are not pinned.

Bearings on the u-joints are not pinned either.

Good try!

Good.. Then you can follow Ted's advice (which I've quoted here to save you scrolling up)... Don't forget step one. Makeing sure they know exactly how retarded they are for not knowing that the easist bearings to change are, in fact, easy to change

If you download the series five fsm and go to the ENGINE section, you'll find the procedure and the Mazda tool. Make your own tool. Press 'em out/press 'em in. Align the locking tab prior to pressing 'em in.

NAPA is a nationwide outfit. I'd check out the web pages and find one near you. I've only bought one item ever from them myself. A Bosch wide band sensor.

There should be a automotive machine shop somewhere near you. Ask around at Pepboys, Autozone etc. They all have access to some machine shop that does that type work.
