MO Battle of the Generations

Heres a question I have for you guys and gals,

Is it ever possible for an 87 FC N/A 5 speed to beat a 94 FD Auto? From a 65 roll?

I ask this because I went ot a BBQ in KC and a FD showed up. After the BBQ
everyone when on a cruse/drive/"race". The FD found me and I dropped into 4th and rolled back to him. We went for it and for most of it I was expecting him to leave me like nothing else... but I stayed with him and pulled away from him.

Now I know the FD has a catback and a bunch of suspension mods. I also didnt here the turbos spool... any. so he may have just been messing around.

So again I ask, is it possible for an 87 FC N/A 5 speed to beat a 94 FD auto?

If the FD has a massive boost leak or is running on one rotor then yes.

Yes. You never specified what N/A motor was in the FC
