ok MY ALT WORKS FINE CAUSE IT STAYS ON WITH OUT MY BATTERY, BUT ITS NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY WHAT CAN IT BE, AND MY BATTERY HAS BEEN REALOCATED TO THE BACK. HELP????

 

Uhm no all caps would help. How new/old is the battery? Go take it to your local parts store, most of them these days will test your battery for free and some even will test your alternator for free too.

by the way guys this is my old car everything was wired correctly but like i told you 12akid perosnally i said to change the battery because it is SUPER old and sat dead in the car for about a month so i dont think the battery is any good...

I did change the battery, it killed two already, the alt works cause i push started it and it stays on fine with no battery, and both were good batterys cause there my friends batterys and they recharged them and they work fine in there cars, so????? what you guys think.

 

also.. what gauge wire did you use to run it to the back... anything less than 2 and your fawked.

 

is the battery completely died or does the lights and all come on intil you goand start the car. cause you may have gottin batterys that dont have enough cranking amps .mine was the same way didnt know what was going on. then i heard about the amp thng

 

Have your alternator checked, free is free. And you shouldnt be mixing and matching batteries from other cars.

your alt might not be working properly still, it might only be pushing enuf voltage to keep the car running but not enuf to charge the battery, like its barly working maybe....

on my bad alt i couldnt get over 12 volts and it wouldnt charge the battery....
