battery relocation

well im trying to find something on how to relocate the battery on the fc, just trying to get a idea on whats involved but i cant find any write ups on the fc only the fd and 1st gens, so if someone could be kind enough to give me a link or helpfull hints on how to route power wire to the fuse box or how to power it, my initial thoughts were to run 0g to the starter then from the starter to the fuse box and relocate the fuse box to firewall possibly instead of strut tower.

I just did mine about a month ago. If you putting you battery in the storage bin like I did and a lot of people do just run your wire through one of the gromets by the storage bins (pull back carpet near floor you will see them). I ran my cables in the frame under the car to hhide and protect them, Then to the starter. I then ran a new cable to the fuse box under the hood from the starter. I also put a breaker about 1ft away from battery. If you need pics or have questions lmk. Its really basically easy. the hardest part was removing the old ground in the engine bay to clean it up. the rest is straight forward

yea i figured it would be pretty strait forward, i run 4g and 8 g all day long at work in cars, so its nothing new to me just kinda wondering what everyone was doing, im trying to clean up my engine bay, im doing the slim fan, ps delete and batter relocate, then trying to figure out what all on the engine emission wise i can remove, but im still trying to learn what everything is before i can touch it.

i havent tackled relocating the fuse box yet, but it is a pain in the ***. Mainly cause of my FMIC piping is in the way but the bat relocation is pretty easy. Emissions is another story though. I have removed some of mine but im waiting till I pull the motor to do the rest

i just have to much crap in the way to work on things, the ps is a huge monster taking up alot of room, im na so after i get rid of a few things it should be easier to work on, i did the tb mod already and custom cold air intake, but ive been reading alot on the emissions things to see what can and cant be removed and how everything works

You don't need to remove any emission components to drastically simplify and clean up your bay.
Unless you so frequently work on your motor that you think Dzus fasteners on the intake manifold might be a good idea, the full emissions package isn't really that obtrusive.

Relocate the battery, 86 the AC and PS, rearrange some stuff and voila!, it ain't that bad.
