Forgive me for sounding obtuse, but why is there a need for a cicuit breaker if the stock system has fuses in place?

Looking at the FC3Spro.com writeup it looks like two circuit breakers are installed? Is this what some of you were calling redundant?
One last question, the FC3spro writeup shows a breaker under the hood. Is this were some of you have attached the factory harness(via distribustion block?) to the Positive lead going to the relocated battery?

Thanks, just trying to comprehend this in writing before making the transition to a practical application.

If there is a short in the cable between that battery and the fuel panel your SOL without a breaker thats right off the battery.

Actually the main positive cable that goes to the starter motor doesn't have a fuse. The smaller positive cable goes to the MAIN fuse in the engine bay fuse block. You could argue that since the stock main cable isn't protected by a fuse or circuit breaker then there's no need to add one, but the stock cable is very well physically protected and so damaging the cable in such a way that causes a short is very unlikely. However when you run a new cable to a relocated battery there is more chance that something could happen to that cable, and a circuit breaker is relatively cheap insurance against that. In theory there's no reason why you couldn't protect the cable enough to remove the need for a circuit breaker (and you should aim to anyway).

Correct.
