Battery light on Horiable buzzing noise but bat and alt read 14.4v at idel

My car is an 87 with an 89 engine swap lots of mods including a microtech i installed.

When I turn the key to on and leave it for a 10sec a loud buzzing noise starts and does not stop. I have read all kinds of threads and have disconnected my osculator (if thats how you spell it) and buzzing continues. All my fluids are toped off.

The buzzing starts at the same time the battery dumby light kicks on but my battery and alt read 14.4 at idel and driving. according to my microtech it moves arund a little but never below 13.5.

I guess my question is how do i get rid of this buzzing noise?

The loud buzzer from the dash is either from Low Oil, Low Coolant in the radiator, or engine Redline.

So fill the oil or bleed the coolant or stop reving past redline.

You are full of coolant in the overflow tank or you are full of coolant in the radiator?

Then you probably have some things disconnected (such as the coolant level sensor or oil level sensor). Although in all honesty I think you just looked at the coolant tank and are bull shitting about checking the radiator.

I would also suspect that since you have an idiot light coming on, you have either a bad CPU or wires disconnected to that as well.

I have read only in one place that the battery losing charge will set of the same buzzer but my battery and alternator are fine.

on the harness that the battery, alternator, oil, and radiator pulg into on my jspec were different it was lacking some of the connections that my previous engine had. The oil level plug does not have anywhere to plug into but the battery idiot light is the only one that comes on.

That would be wrong.

which indicates again, that either you have not wired the car correctly or have removed wires that you shouldn't have.

No, fix the car and do it right. Why would you want to mickey mouse something instead of doing it right.

the microtech is wired correctally i know that but the harnesses are not the same that go from the transmission to the starter to the alt to the bat.

and where my existing car harness pulged into things in the old harness the new harness has no option for these plugs or any other plugs to go into it they are all used up if this makes any sense.

The microtech has nothing to do with anything. It is not related to warning buzzers.

If you didn't hook up the coolant level sensor, and didn't hook up the oil level sensor and didn't hook up the alt run wire to the CPU (body computer) then you didn't wire the car up correctly.

As you see, none of those things have anything to do with the Microtech.

i am not trying to argue with you.

I did hook up the sensor to the radiator and it works when i was low in coolent the light was on until it was full i expected the buzzing to stop then but it did not.

i did hook up the alt.

I do not have any place what so ever to hook up the oil sensor. so if know what i am missing when im looking for this place to hook it up let me know.

sorry if i seem like i am argueing with you im not.

hey thanks i went out and found the problem the fluid level sensor wire was haked up by who knows what and there is not enough wire to put it back together.

Thanks for your help you were right and it is rigged for the time being but if you know anyone who sells these coolent sensors let me know.
