jspec vs a-spec
I have a TII j-spec engine that I swapped into my 7. It was set up for right hand drive, so I made the car that way. The wiring has been a pain since the rear wiring didn't just plug in. My question though is what are some of the differences between the j-spec, and the a spec, both of the ones I have I believe are s5.

The engines are basically the same, with a J-spec engines missing a few emission control devices. Performance is identical. You shouldn't have bothered with the RHD harness, you should've used the harness that was already in your car.

My other engine was a N/A. I swapped a TII. The wiring wasn't a big deal I,ve got everything working and I have one of the few, if not the only right hand drive vehicle in the area, so its unique. It grabs everyones attention, and they are even more amazed that I did it myself.

I found it in ebay. The company was out of texas. I bought the whole front clip with 96000km(58000miles) on it for 1800 plus freight. Don't know if that was a good deal, but it was a lot cheaper than anything else I could find at the time.
