Battery Keeps Dying
I have a T2 89 and i just bought it last week.
I have to charge the battery up while starting it to even get any kind of crank. But the car just sits there and sort cranks and just dies down after a few seconds. Not sure if it's my alternator or what but i'm not sure how to check voltage and the car was lacking an assload of power the one time i've had it turn on.
Any help?

I believe you can take your car down to Autozone and they will check the battery and alternator for free. How old is the battery? It might just be time for a new one.

if you hook everythig back up (after new one is installed) and you find the battery is going dead again...
you might have a short somewhere in your wiring...
i had a fuse for the retractor motor out and it killed my battery :[

I bought a new battery about a year ago, and it only lasted 2 months before I had to charge it up every time I went to drive. I got a new one for free since it was still under warranty. The new one has worked like a charm so far.
