battery keeps dieing

allright so my batery just died about 3 weeks ago so I replaced it

a week after that it kept dieing over night / at school/work completely dead no juice at all not even enough to light up the dome lights

i got rid of the 50 weight oil and put in some 10w30 cleaned the terminals on the battery

it started up great for another week

till today when it completely died while I was at school

note that it started up perfectly after sitting for almost 12 hours last night but it completely after sitting for only 4 hours at school

I've had the alternator checked and I checked the mas when its turned off everythings better than perfect

when the engine is warm and at idle what is the voltage on the voltmeter??

What is the current draw when the car is off (should be less than 70mA- and closer to 35-40mA).

Is the battery designed for warm or cool weather?

It needs to be around 13.5 to charge the battery, if it is only 12.6, then you are running on battery power, and your alt or wiring to the alt is bad.

Who checked out your alt??? Sounds like they don't have a clue

youve either got a parasitic load somewhere on the battery, or you need to ad some grounds, or worst case your alternator is bad. is there anything straight wired to your battery? (cd player, lights, ect?). over time the groudns on these cars go bad. run another ground wire (4 guage or bigger) from negative battery terminal to one of the bolts on top of the strut tower, also run a ground from the alternator body to somewhere on frame or back to negative battery and see if that helps
