battery ground to starter

Im going to redo my battery ground to the starter and I noticed its one wire with a ground crimped in the middle of it going from battery to the chassis to the transmission.

I'm wondering if its fine to just make 2 grounds instead of the one. I was thinking of making one from battery to same chassis ground, and another from that chassis to the transmission. Or would it be better if I made one form battery to the transmission and another one from battery to chasis.

I figured it would be but thought I would see what others would say. I couldn't find any terminals to keep the cable like factory. I like their design, keeping it all one cable

except in coffee!

Even in a "battery bin" install,I ran to chassis at the bin, also ran a ground under the car directly to the starter(Positive also to starter, then up to the fuse block)..
At engine I ran a ground from engine to the driver's frame rail.

If they are clean/greased, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the stock grounds (except that weird one by the wiper motor) and you gain nothing by adding more.

I'm going to go with factory grounds, but adding one from engine to chassis. I'll be making sure there is no paint where my grounds are
