basic safc corrections

posted this in the safc section, but i feel like i would get more answers here

mods in sig

i need some general settings for my cars high and low throttle

i havent messed with my safc at all hardly as honestly im afraid of leaning it out too much in the wrong area and popping the motor

ill be getting on a dyno eventually (next few months), but for right now, i need to adjust my low map so that i can get better econonmy and a tad bit leaner

can someone give me some basic corrections for the low map and maybe the high map ..

right now i have it leaned out a bit up to about 1800 rpm in the low setting ..

if anyone has similar mods, can you post your corrections or atleast a brief summary of them .. like at which rpm should which correction be

i just need some basic stuff as im getting horrible gas milage, im sure im being robbed of power, and im sick of it

you probably have a sensor problem, likely the TPS is bad or way out of adjustment. i get about 20+ MPG and i have it mapped +1 up to 4k RPMs and then ramps up to about +7% after that. produces good power and has decent gas mileage when puttering below 4K RPMs.

check for codes then check your TPS.

my mileage hasn't changed much since i have done the mods, if anything i could tune it for better gas mileage than it had when i originally bought it, my point is if you are getting less than 15mpg and aren't driving like a circuit racer on the highway then you have a problem and SAFC adjustments will just semi-mask the problem.

well it wasnt this bad before i added the walbro
i just assumed with the walbro on there i would be running rich as hell ..

i know my tps isnt in the best working order, but im positive im running too rich
you guys are running 10 psi and adding fuel all the way up?

i thought that our cars run pretty rich as it is ...

i know on my low throttle setting ive taken out a **** load of fuel before 1600 rpm to keep it idling good ...

i assumed i would have to richen it up a bit around 4500 or 5500 rpm, but i assumed in the lower rpm range i would have to lean it out a tad bit???

if you arent dynoing your car yous shouldnt be leaning your car at all.... thats just my opinion.. unless you like blowing things up. its better to get **** poor mileage versus zero mileage

NAs run rich i believe that tii usually run lean easpesially with mods, can you hook up a fuel pressure gauge? If you're getting alot more pressure with the walboro you may need to lean it out a bit, but i'd check things like that before you tinker too much
