Base Swap Question

Hey, I'm sure that this has been covered somewhere, but I could not find it to meet my specific needs. So my problem is that I have a 86 base model and I want to swap to a turbo LSD. I want to know what all I need and if it will all bolt up to the car stock. Also what can I expect in price?

Turbo LSD will NOT bolt up. Just use an NA LSD, it'll fit in perfectly.

To make the turbo LSD bolt up, you'll need a new driveshaft, halfshafts, and pumpkin /w the LSD.

Yeah, you need to use a NA LSD. You can sometimes find people selling complete conversions in the f/s section. Its usally someone parting out a car that had 5-lug and lsd on it.

^^^ truf.
also expect to pay around 300+ for the turbo parts. maybe as low as $200 for the n/a. I think the n/a drive shafts are interchangeable, but don't quote me on that Unless you plan on going full TII conversion later, just stick with the n/a parts.

N/A parts are interchangeable as far as I was told.
