balance weight of S5 internals vs S4 internals
balance weight of S5 internals vs S4 internals
in my new engine i will have S5 rotors in my S4 block with the counterweight from S5. i was wondering if there is any difference between the S4 and S5 in the eccentric shaft and the flywheel.
i was hoping that Ted might have this in his table of weights

The front counterweight and flywheel must be from the same series as the rotors.Or if you use a non standard flywheel you need the rear counterweight from the automatic of the same series.

Are you using an aftermarket lightened flywheel or STOCK flywheel???

(The rotors housings don't matter.  Neither does the eccentric shaft...)

the s5 flywheels are lighter than the s4's, so they need to have the corresponding front and rear counterweights. Example is I am running an s4 engine with and s5 flywheel and counterweights(front and rear). The rotors and eccentric shaft should be fine. I am still running the s4 rotors and shaft.
