Exclamation Bad starter?

Issue I'm having is quite odd, its an 88 T2 5spd.

Problem I'm having is, when attempting to start vehicle it will crank very slow as if the battery is dead, then I'll stop cranking. Attempt again, still slow crank. Try yet again, and it'll crank fast like a new battery with no issues.

Tried last night to start, it did the same thing, however during the slow cranking it sounded like a low buzzing almost electrical type of buzz like a tazer kinda of sound or something. I don't know how to really explain the sound. I have tried charging my battery numerous times, its an Optima yellow top, also checked/cleaned the battery connections.

Any ideas/thoughts? Starter going bad? Battery? Grounds?

Thank you!

Find the B/W wire at the Starter Cut relay (has four wires in one plug) and w/the car "not"in gear jumper the B/W wire to the positive terminal of the battery and the starter should turn over. The B/W wire is connected to the starter solenoid so this will you help to determine where and what your problem is. If the starter turns over fine then obviously your problem lies before the B/W wire thus the starter would not be your problem. If the starter does not turn over w/the jumper technique then the starter or the wire connection to the starter solenoid or the ground and or positive cable at the starter via the battery is problematic.
