Bad Grounds? I turn left and the tach bounces.
I want to know why I turn left and my Tach jumps, only sometimes, Or when the road gets a little bumpy, anyway I figure its a bad ground wire, I started to think it was the tranny ground because I tried to burn out one day and as soon as I popped the clutch (wheel hop) the tach bounce cutting fuel and I shot a huge flame. :/ I don't know if anyone else has had this issue but I could use the help.
Thanks,
Thanks,

there is an issue with converted NA cars using the stock NA wiring loom and hooked to the turbo ECU in which you need to cut some wires
-- knock sensor pin outs for the turbo ECU have some clash with ( i think ) some of the PS wires and the turn left thing is interpreted as engine knock
( and the ignition will retard )
since i dont make a habit of doing the conversion thing with stock ECU's ( heaven forbid ! )
then you will have to search/quiz some of the US users and posts here within to find out the finer details

Where's the turbo references?
There's a ground under the coil that is responsible for the tack signal, this is the one most likely to affect the tack reading. My tach starting acting up and getting intermittent, after I cleaned this ground all problems vanished and haven't returned.

To Bumpstart: thanks man for that info, but I'm N/A. I'm not sure of what you said exactly but I think your talking about using an N/A ecu with TII wiring? Anyway I can use that later
Hey bro you don't have to call people clowns man, thats disrespectful to someone you don't really know. I don't think he was trying to question your knowledge on this.
To sharingan: Thanks too I really think thats the deal also its under the trailing coil right?
I'll take it off and clean it
