bad fuel filter-how bad?
Well my car is not running as fast as it should be and I have changed the oil, oil filter and spark plugs. Didn't change the wires yet but they look good, whatever that means. I also haven't changed the fuel filter. Well, when I am at idle at stopped, I seem to have to give it more gas than I should to get the engine to respond. Seems to bog down and kind of does it while trying to accelerate too. Do you think this could be caused by a bad fuel filter or at least one of the reasons? I was going to buy one today but not going to get one from a local auto parts store, OEM is best right? Thanks alot.

Alright I ordered a mazda one. Should be here by thursday and so should my tires. Then I think I'll strip my car a little and see if I can get my 1/4 mile time down.
