Bad fuel filter?

Well this morning coming home from a friends house I noticed my car acting a bit irratical I was in first accelerating and all of a sudden its as if no fuel is getting to engine R's drop and car almost dies almost as if I wasnt even pressing on gas pedal, a bit ago I was goin to a friends house and the car drops R's to 0 and dies it starts up just fine, but then dies again and even if I tap the gas or floor it its gives me no response, and car dies again

Thanks, Wes

Possible bad filter, possible bad pump... If you have an inline fuel pressure tester, you can eliminate the pump.

If there is absolutely ANY question about the condition of your fuel filter: REPLACE IT.

Don't let some niggling maintenance item 0WN you.

changing the filter costs about $36 dependant on where you get it from. It is just a few bolts, and hose clamps. My hoses were stuck, and had to get someone to put my car on a alift and take it off.

Mine did the same thing. I replaced the fuel filter two days ago and it runs just fine now.
