the back seats are useless. I am 5'10" and the back of my driver seat is pushed up against the bottom of the back seat. you can fit a small child in the back seat thats about it.

Like the other guy said, no way in hell and I'm 5'10. We occasionally stuff one of my fiances friends back there, but they sit behind her. She practically eats the dash while they get all scrunched up. I also put my daughter back there, wish i could build a harness into the seat for her so i wouldn't have to put in a car seat. They're really good for kids.. keeps em in their seat.

Man those seats suck. I just removed mine. Basically any person over 4'5" has to sit sideways and even then is a bit cramped. Nioce find for the black leather though. Pretty rare.

hers my pic,it works well for books, or just one friend sitting sideways, although i have had two adults shoved in the back: one 6'2" and one 5'4" with another 6'2" person in each front seat it had to be a little uncomfortable but it was just a short trip

yes thats a CD player

Yep, similar to the back seats in my dad's austin heally. If you're more than about 7 years old you have to sit sideways.

2 seaters have higher insurance.
will adding the back seats make my insurance cheaper. changing it from a sport 2 seater to a sedan or something.

I am unlucky because in Massachusetts any car that is 2 door automatically becomes a 2 dr sports car. Dam insurance.

IIRC they're not that hard to remove. You should buy and sell them. You could probably get a couple hundred dollars from the right person for those black leather one's...

Although I removed the rear-seats from my old s4 N/A, I actually didn't mind shoving someone back there in a crunch. It was kind of fun watching them squirm around trying to get comfortable.

cool I'll see if i can get em, hope the cold air and moisture at the lot didn't do them in. Will they fit in my car? Mine has no back seats, will I be able to make room for them?

Sure. All FC's are designed for the seats. The bins just sit over the part where the seats would rest. The bins are scewed in place; pull both of them out, pull up the carpet, and feast your eyes on like one million 10mm bolts holding the 'bin housings' in place. Take the bolts out and these 'housings' will lift right off... Wah lah, you can plop the seats down in there place and bolt 'em up. Don't forget the seatbelts.

IIRC, the back-seats have a "special" rear carpeting of their own (one peice).

the rear seats are totally useable. I put 3-4 ppl in my FC on a regualar basis, usually my girlfriends friends.

...Plus it sucks when you're leaving school with your friend and two babes are like "could you give us a ride?" and you have to say "no"
