engine weight?

I'd also like to know a definitive answer, i'm sick of people telling me sr20s and ls1s are the same weight when you can pick up a 13b and you sure as hell can't do it with any of the other engines.

that site states the weight at 260lbs

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
Loaded Turbo long blocks with all the accessories weigh around 350 lbs.
So as far as the weight... are you talking long block with everything, or just the short block and nothing else???

ouch, man that must suck.... i suppose it would be a great idea to drain the oil and coolant while you are at it... hell i would even remove the intake while i am there it can't be that hard.... and take out the alternator and all accessories.... cant be that hard.
it couldn't be that heavy if its size of a diff housing (welll bigger but i didnt want to say transmission, cos that might be bigger.. )

na is pretty light. long block i can carry it. But I tried picking up a complete turbo long block and it felt a little heavier. One person (unless you really dont try) should be able to cart around one. Oh yeah we put that turbo block on a scale it wieghed 327lbs with out flywheel.
