ok when i'm tryin to start the car its turnin over good an tryin to start an then all of a sudden BOOOOOOM the whole car shakes an it backfires real loud never hear it do this before but anyway after that a get out an check it an it has blown the air intake hose off an the two little hoses that conect to it. why would it be doing this anybody know???

this happened to me one time when my starter was going out. what i think happened was it was giving the engine fuel and air and spark but it wasn't turning then it just exploded in the engine. and a huge *** flame shout out the back and it sounded like a gunshot. no intake piping blew off though. hope that helps.

not really but thanks for the info my starter is fine an turnin the car over good but it just wont start an right before i think its gonna start it does this. its done it twice now. is it possible i bumped something an the timing is off??? Can anybody tell me how to check the timing
