I think there is a thread on here somewhere that tells how to convert to a 3rd gen one. They are a little over $200.

I saw where it had been done, you have to get a s6 throttle body and take some bits off of it and fab them up on the S5 throttle body for it to work. I saw one guy that did it to a s4 for some reason. If I had not found the $290 one, and would have had to pay $500 for one, I would have picked up a $50 s6 throttle body off ebay and done the mod.
