Back Seats
Were many FCs sold here in the US with back seats? Are the back seats hard to find?
My wife doesn't like me having an '88 RX-7 for a daily driver because I can't fit our little bastards.....I mean lovely children in it. If I had one of those back seats, the 2 little *****......I mean bundles of joy could (theoretically) ride in the car with me, thereby appeasing both the wife and me. :-)

You can usually find a set floating around on the parts trader.com. I have an 88TII with back seats, but they must have been installed after someone bought the car, because no TIIs came with the extra seats that I know of.

I got leather grey ones for just over $200 on Ebay. It was kinda high but they are in good shape. I guess I got tired of getting freaked out when cop passed and my freind<s> were smashed in the hatch.
I dont really use them anymore and I wouldnt rrecomend making your kids sit back there. Its very uncomfortable for 2 people.

I've got them (stock grey cloth) and I've been thinking about removing them and putting subwoofers in their place. You know, the 2+2 model rx7 costs about half as much to insure (by VIN number)! Maybe you could get a reduction if you put them in? Make me an offer. There isn't much room back there though, an adult has to sit sideways, although my 9 year old nephew fits ok.

Well... what's the weight capacity on an RX-7? Isn't it only like 550 extra pounds? The little peices of sh....eer joy might RUIN YOUR WEIGHT DISTRABUTION!!! Tell your wife how it'll be, and have fun in your 2-seater!
