Trailing Coil Causing Idle Problem? Can't See Spark With Timing Light

Trailing Coil Causing Idle Problem? Can't See Spark With Timing Light

Well ive been having and idleling problem and noticed my coil pack for trailing side is not fireing right. When i hooked up my timming light to the rear rotor trailing spark wire ,it did nothing. When i reved it up it started working. Then idle again stopped working. What is possible is bad. Ohh its a 90 turbo also. Thanks guys

A timing light is not a reliable way to check for spark. Use a spark tester or just hold the plug lead a few MM from the body of the car.

Tailing ignition failure will not cause an idle problem.
