Back in the game?

I sold my FC back in January of last year, and bought a miata. Now that miata was honestly one of the funnest cars I've ever driven, but its too the point where i miss that rotary sound so bad, and every time i see the two FC's in my town I kick myself for selling it. So I had a guy call me today and offer to trade his TII swapped NA for my miata, so i guess my question is what do you guys think?

Does the car still have an omp?

I see its an s5 engine in an s4 car. May have to run premix and miss the handling of a miata. Greddy turbo, begi rising rate fpr, walbro 225 , 320cc injectors and a starion intercooler can be had for about 800.00. That makes the miata a completely different animal.

What are you gonna do though, you miss the rotary sound though. Do what you want.

is another option if you cant have both cars.

That is my dream to have either a 13b or 20b in a miata, but that kit costs close to 8k without the engine I believe. And i definitely will miss throwing the car around corners and the 31mpg for sure, but I've never actually driven a boosted car, and I don't have the outright money to buy a turbo kit for my miata, so the even trade will have to do for now i suppose.

+1^. dont get me wrong, i love my fc (obviously, im here arent i?) but a turbo miata is VERY fun. my fiancee and i bought a 94 R package about six months ago and have since turbo'd it. COMPLETELY different. its like the difference between a stock TII and a 400whp fc.

I agree^^^^^. The exact set up i mentioned before is what i am running on my 1st gen miata. All together different...... Save up the 800 or so and boost the miata.

yes, its really cost effective, i think mine cost like ~1k. MUCH cheaper than turboing an fc.....the only thing i have against it is interior size and theres no rotary....o, and the oil filter location sucks...
