Not all bac had screws. See if its a dead end hole. Most likely it is.

There are three nipples on the front of the dynamic chamber. Two small, one large. Is it one of these metal nipples that has no hose or is it rubber vacuum line that is just laying about?

You said you don't have a turbo but the pic you showed is of a Turbo II intake manifold. I'm confused.

My NA has the idle adjustment screw on top of the intake manifold

it is a turbo pic... i was just showing that what the arrow is pointing too isn't there... that black screw... i was wondering if it was supposed to be there on a n/a....there is just a vaccum hose laying around.... one end is open the other looks like it is coming from right under where the BAC connector is....

I've owned three n/a 86-88 and neither had an air adjustment screw. I've had two turboII engines and both had air adjustment screws.

On my na's the idle was set using the air screw on the top of the dynamic chamber.

On the turboii's the idle is set using the adjustment screw on/in the bac, as shown in the picture.

But that's not to say all na's did not have an adjustment screw. Only my observations with the material I've been working with.

It's a blank hole on those cars that did not have a screw. IF the screw fell out of one that was supposed to have a screw, then you should see a small hole and also the threads for the missing screw.

Don't know nothin about vacuum hoses and stuff.
