Just wondering, what rpm does the BAC open up at or does it?

 

You sure it's the BAC? The BAC opens when loads are placed on the engine such as AC, PS, Lights...

 

just wondering, I read it on some forum that it supposely opens at a certain rpm. I didnt think it sounded right.

 

You msut be thinking of the 5th and 6th ports or VDI

 

I have not problems with my actuators, there fine. I know the actuators open at 3800.

 

The BAC can open as little at 200 RPM up to about 4000 RPM

 

I think thats what the guy was trying to explain, thanx icemark. It was just weird to read it. I wish I knew which forum it was on I was browsing other forum just for the hell of it the other day!!

 

You do know that all the BAC does, is to help idle and loaded engine conditions, by allowing a little more air into the intake after the throttle body when the engine is loaded by things like power steering, or air conditioning or alt load (on S5 models).
