awwwwwww!!!

ok so if enyone can help...plez do...
so i resently did my water pump on my S5 vert....
i loosent of the main bold on the main pulley....
so i know since i dint hold the clutch i was told that the bearing in the
eccentric shaft so i whent and took apart the front cover and the bearing was fine
and i did look at the site. with matrix or wha ever its called....
and wut the engine does it was a major vibration..it shakes the hole car...
i need help!!
and there is no dam rx7 shops enywhere near me=[

Uhhh for some reason your not making any sence. What bearing that engine has like 6. Which one is it.

The front bearing probally fell into the engine i believe. There should be someone here that can help u.

I believe hes talking about the torrington bearing.

did u get the main bolt tightened on there all they way, when you reassembled everything?

sounds like the your bearing fell because you didn't reassemble the engine properly. If its vibrating now, then your bearing is probly toasted. good thing they aren't that expensive to replace

yes its the torrington bearing...
i do recall having the the bolt on the main pulley was loose the
first time that i put it back together...then i ran it..
what do u mean the bearring fell inside the engine?

The fifth and sixth pictures in that link show the torrington bearing in place, and then having falled down. When it falls down, and then the bolt is tightened up on the front, the bearing gets crushed plus the endplay is not all screwed to heck and back.

In the depiction on this url, we've decided we'd call the torrington bearing, a thrust bearing. It is number....(2) on the list of the stack up. The bearing is a flat, washer looking bearing maybe 0.60 thick, and it sits on top of a spacer (number 3). If for some reason it falls off the Lip of the spacer, it'll fall down and rest on top of the eccentric shaft and be trapped b/t the spacer and the thrust plate (number 1).

Just love it when in one place we call Fred, Fred, but later on we call Fred, Lucy. A too common problem in tech pubs.

yea i took those out aredy the number(2) and they are both fine they are not crushed or bent or nothing they are fine...
so i dunnowhat else to look 4..?
